Hostel in Jiagabhuro
In Jiagabhuro (Assam), a teahouse hostel is being built for children and young people from tea worker families. The hostel is being built directly on the campus of the Evangelical parish. Around 20 children who are still attending school in Rangapara will move into the hostel. In the future, they will attend the school located right next to the hostel. Good Shepherd School is a private, independent school. The school was opened only a few years ago.
The hostel offers space for: A library with computer lab, 8 bedrooms, a chill lounge and work desks.
Newly built: An extension of the sanitary facilities, a kitchen and dining building, a playground and sports field
Remodeled: The former parish house is being renovated and equipped with new furniture.
Donations under the keyword "hostel" are used to furnish the Teahouse hostel.
